Being the first of the zodiac signs, they venture out and are go-getters, often leading the way. Their upbeat and magnetic personality often entices others to follow their lead because Aries personalities bring excitement into others lives.
Aries are good friends, they always look out for their friends with caring and generosity and will protect them should the need arise and encourage them with their natural optimism. If confronted, Aries can turn to be quite childish, they will fight back with their aggressive nature and are known to have temper tantrums should they not get their way.
Aries are activists. If a business idea comes their way, they tend to plunge right in. Aries are more then willing to take a gamble and follow their dreams and goals. However, if success is not immediate, they tend to lose interest and give up easily. Aries are notorious for not finishing what they have begun. This is due to the low tolerance for boredom and lack of patience. If the excitement is gone from their business idea, they go off and search for it elsewhere.
Independence is key to Aries astrology, they do not like to take orders from others and enjoy getting their way. They can get childish or moody should they be given orders that they do not like. Aries easily take offense to comments made. Aries are self-involved and can be self-centered, if they do not pay attention to the feelings of others, Aries can easily become spoiled and resented by others. In order to get their way, Aries will tell a lie if it seems advantageous to do so. They are however, not very good liars and other people can usually see through them.
Underneath the strong, independent surface may lie insecurity. This is due to the intense drive to succeed and Aries put too much pressure on themselves, thus resulting in self-doubt however, the natural optimism and enthusiasm overtakes this and the underlying insecurity may never be known to others.
History; Tony and Brenda Parker never imagined that their baby girl would grow up to be widowed mother who would be running the father's garage and still living in Drama Point all before the age of thirty. They never looked at the cooing infant to imagine her becoming a mechanic and a bookie. They didn't expect her to go to MIT for engineering and they certainly didn't look down at her and imagine what a little devil she would be in her troublesome teen years. They didn't see a little tomboy, the girl who would lead men and women alike on for fun. No, Brenda and Tony Parker never imagined anything more then perfection when they looked down at their infant Paige, and boy were they off.
Born on March 24th in 1980 - Paige was the first child and daughter to young nurse Brenda Parker and her mechanic husband Tony Parker of the township Drama Point. They had been prepared for a boy, something Tony had been praying desperately for. It is because of this that over the next five years Paige found no interest in dolls and princesses and dressing up. It would be for her father's never ending attention that Paige takes an interest in cars, in sports, and in rough housing. That and of course her fake Uncle Marc Wilson who's main objective in life was to tickle the young child and chase her around.
By her teen years none of these traits dwindled. Paige began to rebel against behaving but not against her passions. Quickly being known as a party girl, Paige was the girl who danced on top of tables when asked to, who had no issue flashing a guy as well as punching him into a bloody pulp. She took a job at her father's garage, learning about cars more and more. By fifteen she had rebuilt her first car (a 1962 Buick Special). By seventeen she was drawing up advancements for cars to be raced, something that brought enormous pride to her father Tony. It was because of these designs and the work behind it that Paige got early acceptance to a college with one of the best engineering programs in the United States. MIT had been impressed with Paige's work and Paige was very impressed with MIT's location in Cambridge, MA.
It was toward the end of her four year stint at Massachusetts Institute of Technology that a Marine came into Paige's life rather unexpectedly and stole her away. His name was Sergeant Andrew Adams and he was by far the loveliest thing Paige had seen in all her years. With his blond short hair and big blue eyes, he won her over with just a smile. They were quickly married in a hustle to beat his transfer to Hawaii. As a sign of respect and to prove he wanted only her for life, both Paige and Andrew changed their last names, combining both to a simple Parker-Adams.
Hawaii was probably the happiest time of young Paige's life. She took a job tutoring at a local high school, subbing in automotive curriculum programming while Andrew forever worked at the base, training new recruits and preparing to go over seas if called. The fear of losing him to Iraq was one Paige never thought she would have to face. Every day seemed like another day she was sure the orders would never come. It was six months later that a little stick turned blue, and one months after the stick that the orders for Iraq finally came through.
Against Paige's desires, Andrew had his wife shipped back to Drama Point. He demanded that she stay with her parents during her pregnancy and till he returned. He trusted her father Tony to watch over the rambunctious woman and keep her safe. It was almost as if he knew he would never lay eyes upon his darling wife of son ever. Paige of course was completely oblivious to that being an option. She was sure he would be back in a years time as if nothing had changed.
Andrew Parker-Adams Jr was born on August 8, 2004. At six pounds eight ounces, he was considered a small baby but a healthy one. Paige knew her life had changed forever in that moment. She was utterly devoted to her son from the first moment she held him. She would spend the rest of her life making sure he was safe, happy, and would never resent her. She couldn't wait for her husband to return and meet their son. He never would.
Sgt. Andrew E. Parker-Adams, 25, of Cambridge, MA., died Oct. 20 as result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Paige found out on October 21st. The news of course devastated the new mother, sending her into a state of mental illness. She was hospitalized for three weeks, put on suicide watch for another three months. Eventually though the grief came naturally. In a years time Paige was able to function as a useful member of society. She began to work in her father's garage as a mechanic.
In late 2007 Paige bought a house in the town of Drama Point. She now runs Tony's Garage with her father as an employee. She loves her son very much and often regales him with tails of his father. She also runs a small gambling pool on sports such as Baseball, Football, Hockey, and Basketball. When it comes to love she is in no rush to find it again. The idea of growing old and alone doesn't scare her any. She often can be found talking and hanging out with her fake uncle Marc Wilson who in the last couple years has become her best friend. She lives a happy life, though it is clear to any who know her that she is missing something. That something is of course her belated husband.
# OF FACTS #01; Paige has her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from MIT framed and hanging on the wall in the office of Tony's Garage. She points to it anytime anyone ever questions what a girl is doing working in a garage. She takes more pride in her degree then she does in anything else (besides Andrew Jr. of course). #02; Breakfast in Paige's opinion should always include a bagel and cream cheese. Lunch is a useless meal, dinner is not complete without pie, and pea soup is her very favorite midnight snack. #03; Though she drives a Toyota 4x2 Tundra 5.7 V8, Paige dreams of owning a 1967 Impala SS class along with a 1970 dodge charger. #04; Baseball team is the New York Yankees, Football team is the New England Patriots, Hockey team the Buffalo Sabers. #05; Music wise, Paige is eclectic. She enjoys classical music, modern and classical rock, some pop, some R&B, a lot of ambient and contemporary sounds. #06; If there isn't blood and guts in a movie then Paige quickly loses interest. Zombie movies are her favorite though she doesn't mind a good pointless slasher here and there. Supernatural or not, as long as it's action packed Paige will probably enjoy it. #07; Colin Farrell before rehabilitation is considered Paige's ideal man. She likes a rough and tough man who is dominant in nature. Take what he wants, says what he wants, does as he wants, takes no crap from anybody. Any guy who can challenge her stubbornness is the guy who may have a chance with her. #08; Though she knows it's wrong and that she should quit, Paige does smoke. Her preferred cheap brand is USA Golds Menthol Lights. If she can't get those then she'll settle for Marlboro Menthol Lights. She absolutely cannot stand Newports. #09; Paige is somewhat lactose intolerant. Though ice cream does not effect her, milk and cheese does. Because of this she always has a quart of chocolate soy milk in her fridge. She prefers that over lactose milk. #10; Paige would like to one day go to Ireland. She would like to skip the big cities and instead see the country side. She suspects she won't go till her son is in college. If she ever goes that is. #11; A cuddle bug since the day of birth, Paige has no issue with being hugged, cuddled, snuggled, or petted. She loves it when people play with her hair and rub her back. She's always been a huge sucker for attention. #12; Though she doesn't like to do it, Paige is an amazing cook. She blames this talent on her mother and her grandmothers, who were always in the kitchen and dragging her in as well. They all attempted at one point or another to knock the tomboy out of her. Of course they failed at their mission but their lessons about making the perfect bird, how to make a cake light, fluffy, and moist, and how to make the perfect gooey brownie never left her. #13; Paige and her much younger sister Kingston have never gotten along. Paige doesn't trust her sister and wishes the girl would just leave and never return. Kingston of course feels the same way about her. #14; Often Paige wishes she were a vampire so she would have an excuse for why she hates sun light. Give her rain, cloudy skies, or night. Paige has never been a fan of a bright sunny day though she does love to surf, play sports, and take hikes. #15; If Paige could wish anything for her son, it would be happiness. She doesn't care if he grows up to the an athlete or a pierced freak with different color shades of hair. As long as he's happy she is fine with whatever path in life he takes. She knows she will support his dreams no matter what they are. |
